SIMPLEPAY – ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEM

WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT THE SIMPLEPAY PAYMENT SYSTEM?

The SimplePay Online Payment System is SimplePay Ltd. which is a member of the OTP Group. The company offers an extensive portfolio of services in the field of e-commerce and smart device-based commerce; its products are marketed under the Simple brand.

Main services:

• SimplePay Online Payment System: A simple and secure payment option for online purchases. By continuously monitoring transactions, it helps prevent unexpected incidents.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS INVOLVED IN THE TRANSACTION?

1. When you click the „Pay” button, you will be redirected to SimplePay’s secure payment page.
2. By entering your card details, you will initiate the transaction.
3. Please check that the details are correct; processing will then begin in the banking systems.
4. You will receive an email notification regarding the payment result, after which you will be redirected back to the service provider’s website.

Please note! The use of Maestro and Visa Electron cards online is determined by the issuing bank. If the bank has authorised it, our system is able to accept them.

SAFETY

When paying online, the customer is redirected to the online shop’s secure payment page, which is independent of the shop itself. The merchant does not have access to the card details, as these are not transmitted to them. SimplePay continuously monitors transactions to ensure the security of cardholders.

WHAT SHOULD YOU LOOK OUT FOR WHEN PAYING?

Payment by credit card

• Online payments are free of charge for cardholders.
• Card companies protect consumers’ interests: if a transaction is not completed, you can get your money back by making a complaint.
• Please take extra care with the 3-digit security code (CVC2/CVV2) on the back of your card!

Safety advice

• Sign up for the text message service offered by your bank to keep track of changes to your account in real time.
• Never give out your four-digit PIN when shopping online!
• Always log out of the website after making a purchase, especially if you are using a shared computer.
• Be wary of emails asking you to verify your details; card companies never ask for details via email or over the phone.

Online shopping

• Check the online shop’s reliability and contact details before placing your first order.
• Look for security logos (e.g. MasterCard SecureCode) and indicators of SSL encryption (padlock icon, https address).
• Please save or print the order confirmation and payment details.
• Please read the terms and conditions to find out about your rights to make a complaint or cancel your contract.

BANK TRANSFER VIA THE SIMPLEPAY SYSTEM

• The customer transfers the amount directly to SimplePay Zrt.
• The system can only accept transfers initiated in HUF.
• Process: The customer selects the bank transfer option, and SimplePay sends the necessary details for the transfer by email. The customer completes the transfer via their own online banking platform, and SimplePay notifies the Merchant once the payment has been processed.
